This Blog Rules by VT Girl

Welcome. Thank you for reading and supporting Bathing Suit Places. I really appreciate it.When I started this site I had never worked on a website before. I didn’t spend hours in chat rooms or playing second life. I didn’t read many blogs. I didn’t know the first thing about web design. I didn’t even know how to make a link from one site to another, but with the help of lapster, a wonderful designer and tech genius we got it started.During this process there were arguments, templates breaking, and a lot of me saying “can you make that bigger? No wait. Make it small again. Ok, now make it green, no wait, red…”

All in all, I am really proud of this site. Bathing Suit Places has the dream of being a space for fun, creativity, and well, just fun. I wanted a site to discuss all of the things I love and the things I love to hate! I hope I can keep you guessing, and write a site that is interesting to read.

However, since I am new to the whole blogging community, I am nervous about putting my words and myself out there. So I stumbled onto a few brilliant sites that have Blog Rules. I have borrowed from them, and created some of my own.

Thanks again for reading.

VT Girl Blog Rules

  1. This might sound silly, but I want to make sure to say it: I am aware that my blog is public, and I write it because I want people read it.
  2. This is a place for me to have fun. If it stops being fun, I will stop writing it. End of discussion.
  3. I have decided to post under the pseudonym ‘vtgirl’ but the words, thoughts, and views are all my own. I’m not keeping my identity a secret or anything. This is just a personal choice on my part, but I love to meet people. If you want to get to me or any of the writers on Bathing Suit Places just email us: bathingsuitplaces@gmail.com
  4. If you read the blog, great. Thank you. Scan the site or leave a comment (we love em!). However, if I ever say to you, “Didn’t you read my blog? I discussed that last week”. You should take me out back and help me end myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love to chat about the blog, but if you don’t mention it, no sweat. This is just a hobby for me.
  5. This is not my day job (I have a very cool day job). So occasionally I post every single day. Then, there will be weeks when I won’t blog a peep. Who cares, this is not a graduate course. I do what I want. Say what I want. If it bugs you or if you think you can do it better: Go for it. Start your own today.
  6. Finally, and I can’t stress this enough: I will almost NEVER blog about work. I will NEVER include people in my life or something that happened without permission from those people. I’m paranoid about people posting things about me online. I use that fear to protect those in my life. This is a non-negotiable for me.
  7. We love linking to other sites that excite us. So if you think we have interests and passions in common send along a comment or email.
  8. I got a lot of these rules from other blogs (Thank you):
