Hi all. Lapster and I were in Canada this weekend. We’ll write about it soon. I also have several long blog posts in the works, but right now this video seems to take center stage. While in elementary school I played the flute in the band. I actually thought it was really fun. I was never any good, but it had a sweet light voice that I enjoyed. And of course, there was always band camp. . .[wink, wink]

As with so many things in my childhood I wish I hadn’t given it up so quickly when my teenage fancy turned to boy bands, cheerleading, and a general focus on NOT being a girl who played the flute. My mind wanders to the road less traveled. Guess hindsight is always 20/20, but if I could beatbox and play flute — now that would be something.
