My shuffle has been on the fritz lately. I didn’t realize how much I actually used it until, as always, it was broken. I know it isn’t that much to buy a new one — but old habits die hard. I’ve been fantasizing about the little orange one. All that said, now it works sometimes. You have to turn it on and off about ten times. Then you get tunes. Just happy to have music back.

This morning I had a great talk with my sister and she recommended some new music. I bought the album and I’ve been listening to it all day. Her name is Regina Spektor and her new album is — Begin to Hope. She has an interesting breathy voice, unique song writing and perky little melodies. If you are looking for a fun new album to play on the commute — this is it.
