This is one of the best gifts for the holiday season I’ve seen in a long time. The Vatican has released their 2007 Calendar. Their goal:
“Often tourists, mainly foreigners, don’t have a complete knowledge of the things they see while in Rome, especially concerning the rather confusing Vatican grounds. This calendar intends to give basic information and some notes on the general characteristics of the Vatican with the hope of sating the thirst for knowledge continually demonstrated by the Eternal City’s visitors.”
It’s the “hot priests” calendar! I love it. If the men in my church looked like this — I’d be a believer! They definitely accomplished their mission I do have a renewed thirst for knowledge.
Special thanks to: Andrew Sullivan and At Home In Rome where I first saw the calendar.
Enjoy!
P.S. Please don’t be offended by this post. I put it up with no other motives but humor and joy.
