As everyone does, I have my list of blogs and sites that I check daily.  I like to think that I am someone who (although informally) keeps up with what’s new on the internet — until I realize that the weblog awards are open, and I haven’t heard of a lot of these sites.  I guess I’m not as “cool” as I thought.  Check out the nominees and see if your favorites have been nominated.
