I bought new Kenneth Cole boots last weekend, and spent more money than I have EVER spent on shoes. Even though I bought the boots at an outlet – they were still expensive. I wouldn’t really consider myself “shoe crazy”, but I get this idea in my head of what I want, and until I find it – nothing else will do. So I bought beautiful brown knee high slightly slouched boots, and I love them (they look better in person than in the photo). I wore them on my walk to the bank today, wore them to a concert this weekend, and I would sleep in them if Lapster would let me.

Then, last week, I learned that Cole Haan now sells high heels with Nike Air technology. Can you believe it sexy pumps that feel like sneakers? I’m in heaven. However , a pair of Cole Haan shoes cost as much as my rent – so I’ll have to wait until I hit another tax bracket to enjoy these lovelies.
All the fashion advice I’ve read encourages me to buy a few quality pieces, but I have always been a quantity over quality girl. My philosophy, “if a little is good, than a lot is better.” However, as I’m getting older, I am finding that I have a real taste for the high life, and I need a good looking shoe to get me there.
