Today is World Water Day.

It seems fitting that today, of all days, our landlord would finally arrive to fix our plumbing. I will not pretend that our pipe issues are anything in comparison to what our brothers and sisters deal with on a daily basis throughout the world. But let me tell you, without water for less than a day — it was a huge inconvenience — my world, however briefly, was turned upside down.

But What if: there was no where to go for clean water, if I had children to care for, if the water was filled with bacteria, or if there had been a drought?

Water is life.

Unfortunately, I missed the walk in my city today. So I gave some money to this important cause – if you have a little extra – share it. You can make a difference.
