Today it happened.

I am at the counter paying for gas at the Mobil station, and there they are in brilliant primary colored foil, piled on top of each other like sunken treasure. I know “the only thing you can count on is change” – but for me, you can also count on – Candy! Time marches on. We may be spiraling toward infinity. But damn, once a year, without fail we get CADBURY EGGS! They are only the best candy known to man, well, known to me at least.

I had planned to discuss Valentine’s Day, and gifts – the fun of it and the uselessness of it. However seeing the Cadbury Eggs trumped any other issue for me. I needed to address it immediately.

In the frozen darkness of February spring has sprung. Tulips, baby animals, and pool parties are on the horizon. Time is limited in life and in chocolate.
